The Technology and Research Growth Initiative project is designed to create educational and support opportunities for UA researchers interested in advancing their research for societal benefit and economic growth. The Technology and Research Growth Initiative is a joint project of the Karl Eller Center and the Office of Technology Transfer.
The Target Workshop Series will provide the University of Arizona community the tools necessary to advance ideas and research. The specific aspirations of individuals within the community vary, and goals could be anything from setting funding projections, promoting a social or economic benefit, or simply furthering the career of an individual. The Target Workshops will cover issues involved with identifying a research or technology transfer opportunity, assessing that opportunity, and facilitating a successful outcome. Target UA will be a valuable tool for University personnel in all fields, research-related or other.
The Technology and Research Growth Initiative recently completed a survey of over one hundred university faculty and graduate students. The survey responses provided information about the format, content, and times best tailored to meet the UA research community's needs. The workshops are designed around interactive, engaging curriculum that can be fitted to a spectrum of professional goals.
(All workshops will be held in McClelland Hall Room 208.)
